Stile Antico is firmly established as one of the world’s most accomplished and innovative vocal ensembles. Working without a conductor, its twelve members have thrilled audiences on four continents with their colourful and vibrant performances of Renaissance polyphony. The group has appeared at many of Europe’s most important venues, including Wigmore Hall and Amsterdam Concertgebouw.
Stile Antico’s third choral event is titled Garden of Earthly Delights. Shepherds, nymphs and birds abound in the Arcadian gardens, brought to life by Byrd, Josquin and Monteverdi, plus Huw Watkins’ The Phoenix and the Turtle.
