Stile Antico is firmly established as one of the world’s most accomplished and innovative vocal ensembles. Working without a conductor, its twelve members have thrilled audiences on four continents with their colourful and vibrant performances of Renaissance polyphony. The group has appeared at many of Europe’s most important venues, including Wigmore Hall and Amsterdam Concertgebouw.
This is the first of three concerts they will be performing today.
5.30am Arrival and Coffee
6am – 6.45am ‘Toward the Dawn’ charts a course from twilight to sunrise, exploring the medieval experience of night, including music by Byrd, Lassus, Nico Muhly and Taverner.
