Enjoy an early summer’s evening of wine tasting and jazz in a beautiful garden setting near Bakewell. The evening starts at 6.30pm with drinks and canapes. The Night Creatures Trio, will play a selection of popular favourites while you enjoy refreshments on the lawn.
About the Night Creatures Trio
The Nightcreatures Trio takes you back to jazz and blues origins, specialising in Funk, Blues, and Mardi Gras street beats. They play upbeat, entertaining piano, guitar and drums with earthy vocals on top.
You’ll know the tunes – a varied mixture of classic New Orleans, old-time blues, and rock/pop covers given the Night Creatures treatment. In the true spirit of the city they bring together songs sourced from such diverse artists as Prince, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix, as well as from New Orleans greats like Allen Toussaint, Dr John, Professor Longhair, James Booker and many more.
Expect a spicy gumbo of blues, funky grooves and classic tunes!

About the Venue
The Rookery is a beautiful house that dates from the 16th century, located on the banks for the River Wye, in Ashford in the Water.
