L van Beethoven Quartet in B flat major, Op. 133 Grosse Fugue

Praised for their ‘immaculate precision and spirit’ (The Strad) the Solem Quartet has established itself as one of the most innovative quartets of its generation.  They have built a strong following since winning the Royal Over-Seas League Ensemble Competition 2014 and their work ranges from international tours to venues including Wigmore Hall and Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall.

This programme brings together two giants of the string quartet genre – Beethoven and Bartok – alongside contemporary composer David Roche and a wonderful arrangement of Clara Schumann’s Three Romances by the quartet’s very own Amy Tress.

This event has an interval.
