Buxton regular and LBC presenter Iain Dale and journalist and author Steve Richards will be ‘in conversation’ to discuss their respective short biographies of two of our most recent prime ministers – Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair. Thirty-five years after Thatcher was ousted, and nearly twenty years since Tony Blair was replaced, Iain and Steve will explain why both ex-premiers have influenced today’s politics and why younger generations should understand their legacies. Steve will also talk to Iain about his newly published autobiography Have I Said Too Much?, which tells all about his life in politics and the media. Iain is the author or editor of more than 60 books on politics and presents the evening show on LBC Radio. Steve is a former political editor of The Independent and hosts the Rock ‘n’ Roll Politics podcast.
