Booking Dates Announced for BIF 2023

Tickets for The Land of Might-Have-Been, a new work inspired by the early life of pacifist and feminist Vera Brittain are already on public sale, as are our Jazz Weekender tickets.

Tickets for all other Buxton International Festival 2023 events go on sale to the general public on Tuesday 4 April at 10am.

There will be a wide range of opera, music, book and jazz events on offer for the 17 days of the Festival, from 6 – 23 July.

This year’s Festival features operas including Bellini’s La sonnambula and Mozart’s Il re pastore, along with the world premiere of our musical The Land of Might-Have-Been.  We have music from violinist Nicola Benedetti who’ll be performing with The English Concert on Monday 10 July, at 5pm.  Her concert will be followed by nine time Grammy Award winning Jazz icon Wynton Marsalis at 9pm.  The book series features Sir David Hare and Polly Toynbee, as well as a host of other experiences.

We are working to ensure the Festival remains affordable and are making tickets available at 2022 prices as part of an Early Bird scheme.  Early Bird tickets will be available until Tuesday 18 April, and after that they will increase by a few pounds.  All £25 seats are staying at that level.

Members of the Friends of Buxton Festival are able to jump the queue, getting up to 4 weeks of priority booking with their membership.
