In collaboration with the University of Manchester, BIF is proud to deliver engaging orchestral workshops to local schools. These interactive sessions introduce students to the exciting world of orchestral music, helping them explore a wide range of instruments and discover how different sounds combine to create a full orchestra.
Designed to be both educational and inspiring, the workshops give pupils the opportunity to hear instruments up close, learn how they produce sound, and understand the role each instrument plays within an ensemble.
Workshops can be tailored to suit the needs of each school and are available as whole-class sessions or large-scale whole-school experiences. Whether introducing younger pupils to orchestral instruments for the first time or enriching an existing music curriculum, BIF’s workshops aim to make orchestral music accessible, memorable, and fun for every student.
