We are delighted to welcome Careane Wallace to the Board of Directors at Buxton International Festival.
Careane trained as a Chartered Accountant and is a practicing member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. She has worked in both practice and industry. During her time in practice, she was involved in financial reporting, tax planning and the audit of both listed and unlisted companies.
Careane currently runs two practices based in London and specialises in small and medium-sized entities. Whilst she believes that knowing the numbers behind every scenario is crucial, to her, accounting is more than just ‘crunching numbers’ and she thrives on translating information into actionable plans, taking businesses on a transformative journey along the way.
Careane has extensive audit experience and will take over from Chris Fry as the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.
