Tickets for Buxton International Festival 2019 go on sale to the general public on Monday 1 April at 10am. You can book for the wide range of opera, music and book events that are on offer for the 17 days of the Festival from 5 – 21 July.
This year’s Festival features operas including Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin and a new work about the life of Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire; music including baritone Roderick Williams, pianist Peter Donohoe and Alistair McGowan; and books including Lucy Worsley, Melvyn Bragg and Kate Humble, as well as a host of other experiences on offer throughout the Festival.
Although public booking opens on 1 April, members of the Friends of Buxton Festival are able to jump the queue, getting up to 4 weeks of priority booking for their membership.
Priority booking opens the different levels of membership as follows:
Directors Circle, Benefactors, Gold Patrons – 4 March, 10am
Patrons – 11 March, 10am
Gold Friends – 18 March, 10am
Friends – 25 March, 10am
From the above dates, Friends of Buxton Festival members can book using the booking form they receive with the brochure, by phone or online using the code printed on the booking form.
