Buxton International Festival is delighted to announce the first operas set to feature in its 2027 programme.
The line-up includes La gazzetta by Gioachino Rossini, Ariadne auf Naxos by Richard Strauss and Les Contes d’Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach.
The Festival will also present the world premiere of Orlando: An Escapade by Thea Musgrave, based on Virginia Woolf’s novel Orlando.
