Together, they draw on a wide range of music, from genre-defining jazz to folk music from the Scottish, Gaelic and Middle Eastern traditions.
Saxophonist Tommy Smith has toured the world with Gary Burton’s Whiz Kids, and worked with jazz greats including Chick Corea, Dame Cleo Laine and Jack DeJohnette.
Pianist Peter Johnstone was Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year winner in 2012, and the first student on the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s jazz course to return as a teacher. Together, they draw on a wide range of music, from genre-defining jazz to folk music from the Scottish, Gaelic and Middle Eastern traditions.
