Joanna MacGregor CBE is one of the world’s most innovative musicians. She has appeared as a soloist with the world’s leading orchestras, performing in over eighty countries. Joanna has premiered many landmark works – from Harrison Birtwistle to John Adams and James MacMillan – and is a regular broadcaster, appearing regularly at the BBC Proms.  At the heart of her programme are transcriptions of the Prelude and Liebestod from Wagner’s seminal music drama Tristan und Isolde.
