After his Buxton debut in 2021, we welcome back aspiring young cellist Jamal Aliyev who will be performing a wonderful programme of Chopin, Schubert, Tchaikovsky and Piazzolla. In 2017 Jamal made his BBC Proms debut and released his CD Russian Masters to critical acclaim. Solo highlights since then include appearances at St. Magnus Festival and with CBSO at the Royal Albert Hall. In 2021 he was listed as one of Classic FM’s top 30 most brilliant young classical musicians playing today.
