Enjoy a day of jazz and a seat at iconic musical, Gypsy: A Musical Fable with the BIF Jazz Day ticket on Saturday 9 July.
We will be creating our own intimate jazz club at The Palace Hotel, in the heart of the town. Events will also take place in the Pavilion Arts Centre and at the iconic Buxton Opera House. The ticket includes entry to 3 gigs.

A Buxton International Festival and Buxton Opera House production, Gypsy is a highlight of the 2022 festival, combining bitingly witty lyrics by Stephen Sondheim with truly memorable songs including Let Me Entertain You, Everything’s Coming Up Roses, You Gotta Have a Gimmick and Some People.

The critically acclaimed quintet bring new ways to tell the classic, age-old stories with special guest, Laura Jurd, one of the UK’s most distinctive and creative composer-performers.
