English Touring Opera Recital and Lunch

It is with great regret that for the first time in forty years we must cancel the Buxton International Festival in July 2020. This is an enormous disappointment but the health and well-being of our audience, our volunteers, the BIF team and all the artists involved is of primary concern. By taking this difficult decision now we are safeguarding the Festival for the Future. Read our full statement here.

English Touring Opera continue their love affair with Buxton – one of the few venues to which they tour all their productions—with an intimate recital in the home of Pat & Philip Holland just across the park from the Opera House. Come and join us for this recital which includes a welcome drink and ends with lunch. ETO will be performing Bach’s St John Passion and Così fan tutte by Mozart.

The full operas will take place at Buxton Opera House on the following dates:

• Sat 28 March  Così fan tutte
